Weddings away...

Lately I've been surrounded by an enormous amount of matrimonial excitement. It seems that I have reached that grown up age where everyone is taking the 'next step'. It's all very exciting, very expensive and very exhausting!

Already I need to pencil in 2 weddings late this year with another 3 to follow in the first half of next year and I have a feeling we're not done yet.
I know of 4 people in my department who are busily planning their big days, plus there's our friends and then friends of friends. And most recently, one of my best friends had the pleasure of announcing her happy news!

I'm really stoked for Georgie and Glen, they are a brillaint couple who have been together for about 6 years now. I love that they are entirely themselves around each other; it sounds like an easy thing to do, but how many couples do you know that fit that statement?
They have travelled together. They have lived apart, lived abroad and lived with parents. Their relationship has survived career changes, lost jobs, found jobs, births, deaths and misunderstandings. They truly suit each other and I am so glad that my mate has found her mate.

Only thing is, silly girl asked me to be a bridesmaid. All of a sudden, I have entered the wedding arena. Stay tuned.
